Madhav Mukundan, D.D.S.

Dr. Madhav Mukundan began his interest in dentistry while pursuing his Bachelor's of Science, Pre-medicine degree at the University of Maryland at College Park.  This along with a keen interest in painting and the fine arts led him to enter the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at  New York University in Manhattan, New York.  After further completing a General Practice Residency program at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, affiliated with Weill Medical School of Cornell University, Dr. Mukundan lived and practiced in Manhattan for 8 years before moving to this beautiful area of the world to be closer to family.  Dr. Mukundan resides in Monterey with his wife Erin, sons, Ryan and Devan and daughter ,Maya.  His keen interests (apart from Dentistry, of course) are in oil painting, fishing, and spending time with family.

          Dr. Mukundan is committed to staying up to date with the latest treatments and technologies.  He actively attends continuing education courses and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Monterey Bay Dental Society. He also is an active member of the Monterey Peninsula Fine Art Foundation.
